This week an unusual and very compressed week with a bank holiday Monday and a day out of the country. So with the remaining days I sat in my little office trying to keep focused during this 30-plus degree heat.

βπ» - Project-R2 progresses with plenty of hiring and project planning underway. However, this wasn’t the most interesting thing about this project this week. It was a small conversation about how to handle ITIL change management in a world of code and pull-requests. It needed to be a longer conversation but I’ve added it to my blog draft list.

βοΈ - Wednesday was a little trip to Bordeaux to meet a potential new customer looking for a complete out-sourcing of their IT services, covering most of our portfolio. All fairly standard stuff but going there and back in a single day made it a long day, the 35-degree heat and the plane and train delays on the way home slightly took the edge off what should have been a nice little trip.

π¨π»βπΌ - Much of the rest of the week was discussing lots of new business, mostly pretty big from two new customers and two existing ones. Enough to ensure we’re going to be very busy this summer and I need to prepare my teams for that.
