@barney_parker Depends on the system. Something that is third-party, has already transitioned into the commodity or behind the line of visibility makes sense to outsource. An application that is your business of course not. But then many folks aren’t able to wardley map to make that decision.

@barney_parker I think we’re in violent agreement on that point. It’s the understanding which components that are the real business value vs the components which are necessary but undifferentiated.
